Afternoon Program

Kinga is a true professional with the needs of her students her top priority.”

The afternoon program is also open to motor-disabled students who attend other schools for their academic education. They may be fully-included in regular education at grade-appropriate level. The afternoon program is non-academic with an emphasis on the group movement program to foster functional movement and self-help skills. Opportunity is provided for children to develop their social and emotional competencies through peer support with other motor-disabled children, several of whom communicate verbally. The more-able students are encouraged to act as role models and mentors for those more severely-challenged.
